We had such a great time at the house. The area was peaceful and out of the way but was close enough to all the great breweries and wineries in the area. The yard was vast and our dog loved exploring the grounds. At night we had a bonfire under the stars and really enjoyed every moment. Judith was an awesome host and was very responsive and made some great suggestions about exploring the area. We’re looking forward to our next stay!

The FarmHouse Cottage was an amazing place to gather with my family for our daughter’s college graduation. We loved the whole experience…from the beautiful landscape, having plenty of big beds and bathrooms to match, and a wonderful attentive host. There was always hot water for everyone’s shower. Plenty of towels. A great dining table for meals. And the added bonus of the magnified mirror for old eyes & makeup was much appreciated. We absolutely recommend this family friendly place.

Judith is a life saver. We had just vacated a disaster property the morning we checked into Possom Trot and Judith couldn't have done any more to help us get checked in and be super comfortable. Both properties are absolutely gorgeous. The two of us stayed in the Lodge and were very comfortable indeed. It was extremely clean, welcoming, decorated beautifully and you need nothing with the exception of clothes & groceries. The interior had amazing attention to detail. It's actually darker in reality than in the photos, which is super cool, relaxing & comfortable, but an abundance of lamps and other lighting options can turn it into a bright space if needed. We mostly kept them off for coziness. A huge glassed in front porch with a 16' approx long farm table was awesome and hilarious for just the 2 of us - can you pass the salt?! The kitchen is a dream. Massive gas range was gorgeous and every cabinet & drawer was fully stocked with amenities. You would have to try exceptionally hard not to have an amazing stay here. The outdoor areas are clean, well maintained and have high quality & comfortable furniture. Our pup and we enjoyed the vast expanses of lawn, fire pit and nearby creek. Looking forward to returning as soon as we can.

Possum Trot Farm is an absolute treasure. It feels a bit like stepping back in time.....so many cool furnishings and knick-knacks and curiosities, there's almost a cozy museum quality to it. Despite the historic nature of the house, it has most of, if not all, the creature comforts that a modern day traveller could want.....flat screen TV, cable, Netflix, wifi, good water pressure, great beds. And the beautiful landscape, including the wonderful, deep, southern-style porches, just made it the perfect place for a small group of friends to call home for a few days. Judith's communication, even at the late hour that we arrived, was spot on and clutch. Highly recommended!

Feels like home! Lots of homey touches, extra fluffy towels, and soft cozy sheets. Judith went above and beyond with local recommendations and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful house in a beautiful location. Unlike some houses in AirBnB, this house has all the amenities you could want, right down to little things, like scissors and spices. The internet worked well, even though the house is in a rural area in the mountains. The house is a terrific place to relax, inside or outside, but also is close to lots of fun things to do. We have stayed at many AirBnB houses and were happy with most of them, but this is the first one we'd love to come back to.
